Significant results were achieved in development of the international Delphic Games in 2013. To begin with the Eighth Open Youth Delphic Games of the CIS member-states took place in Novosibirsk, the Russian Federation on May 16 – 21, 2013. The Games were held under the patronage of the International Delphic Committee. 1081 young artists from 10 to 25 years old and more than 60 eminent jury members from 21 world countries: Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Cyprus, Finland, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, Tajikistan, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, USA, – participated in the Games. The Games were addressed by the greetings of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the Chairman of the Executive Committee – the Executive Secretary of the Commonwealth of Independent States Sergey Lebedev, the President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso, the Director-General of UNESCO Irina Bokova, the Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjorn Jagland, the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Jean-Claude Mignon, the crew of the International Space Station. On October 10, 2013 the International Delphic Committee celebrates its 10-Years anniversary. At the present moment 65 countries from 5 continents are in close cooperation with the International Delphic Committee. Till now more than 35 national, international and world Delphic Games and about 150 Delphic events (festivals, presentations, conferences, meetings, round-table discussions, etc.) are held. The Сhildren’s Delphic Games (December 2-4, 2013, Moscow) were held for the first time in the history of the international Delphic Games. About 5.000 children aged from 9 to 14 years old participated at all stages of the Games, the competitions took place on the 24 nominations of folk, classical and contemporary art. Also in 2013 it was decided to hold the First Open Youth European Delphic Games, which will be held from 2 to 7 May, 2014 in Volgograd, the Russian Federation, and preparations for the competition for the right to host the Third World Delphic Games in 2016 began. Throughout the year efforts were made to expand the network of the Internet-television DELPHIC TV and the Internet-radio DELPHIC FM.
