Twelfth Youth Delphic Games of the CIS Member States

Information

From 18th to 23rd of April, 2017 the Twelfth Youth Delphic Games of the CIS Member States were held in the Sverdlovsk region (Russian Federation) within the framework of the Cultural Project Delphic Games – 2017. The patronage to the Games was provided by the International Delphic Committee (headquartered in Moscow).

About 600 young artists aged from 10 to 25 years old from 8 countries of the CIS participated in the Games. The contest and festival programs of the Games included 17 nominations of classical, folk and contemporary arts. The international jury consisted of 54 prominent masters of culture and art from all of the Commonwealth countries that took part in the Games. Following the result of the competitions laureates were awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals and diplomas. A total of 29 sets of awards were bestowed during the Games.

On April 20, 2017 the International Conference took place. The main topics of the conference were: «Youth and Culture», «Dialogue of Cultures – Eurasian Perspectives», «Culture is the Vector of Development».

Due to D-link and Technologies of Online-Video companies that provided a live webcast hundreds of thousands of people from 37 countries followed the course of events of the Games on the Internet.

The informational campaign of the Games was carried out at regional, national and international levels. The events of the Games were broadcasted by 10 TV channels of national and interstate distribution.
