  • WHAT IS THE DELPHIC GAMES

    The Delphic Games are complex competitions in the disciplines of artistic, applied and research creativity. Currently, competitions are held in 54 categories: piano, violin, theater, academical singing, folk dance, circus, epidemiology and bioinformatics, art of upbringing, fashion design, popular science video blogging, etc. 
  • THE HISTORY OF THE DELPHIC GAMES

    The Games started officially in Greece in 582 B.C. Together with the Olympic the Delphic Games (called the Pythian before) were forbidden more than 1600 years ago and reappeared only at the beginning of the 20th century: the Delphic Festival was held in Greece in 1927 – 1930, it became the complete analog of the ancient Pythian Games. However, because of the Second World War the Higher Forum for Art was suspended.

The conference was organized by the International Delphic Committee and the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The topics of the conference were "Peculiarities of working with young talents during the period of coronavirus restrictions" and "Culture is not an industry, but a vector of development". More than 70 people took part in the event, 24 representatives of 7 countries were the speakers

    From 21 to 26 of May, 2021 the Twentieth Youth Delphic Games of Russia were held in the Perm region. The Games were held under the patronage of the International Delphic Committee and the aegis of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO.

    1947 people took part in the Games, formed in delegations from 65 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Competitions were held in 28 categories of classical, folk and modern art.

    In official team championship the first place took the delegation of the Perm region, the second – of the Novosibirsk region, the third – of the Moscow region, the fourth – of the Samara region, the fifth – of the Krasnoyarsk region, the sixth of the St. Petersburg. 77 sets of medals were drawn during the Games.

    Within the framework of the Twentieth Youth Delphic Games of Russia the Fifteenth International Conference was held.

    From 6 to 11 November 2020, the Nineteenth Youth Delphic Games of Russia are being held under the patronage of the International Delphic Committee, which became the first event in Delphic history to be held entirely in digital format.

    1706 people take part in the Games as part of delegations from 72 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. About 100 prominent figures of art became members of the jury. Competitions are held in 30 categories of classical, folk and modern art. Most nominations are divided into 2 or 3 age groups. A total of 76 sets of medals will be drawn.
