  • WHAT IS THE DELPHIC GAMES

    The Delphic Games in the world are complex competitions of young art workers of high level of mastership. Being in demand in present-day conditions they are held nowadays in 50 folk, classical and contemporary nominations (piano, violin, folk instruments, TV journalism, cooking art, hairdressing, preservation of cultural heritage, etc).
  • THE HISTORY OF THE DELPHIC GAMES

    The Games started officially in Greece in 582 B.C. Together with the Olympic the Delphic Games (called the Pythian before) were forbidden more than 1600 years ago and reappeared only at the beginning of the 20th century: the Delphic Festival was held in Greece in 1927 1930, it became the complete analog of the ancient Pythian Games. However, because of the Second World War the Higher Forum for Art was suspended.

    • preparation and holding the Delphic Games as the Higher Forum for Arts

    • education of tolerance to the culture of other nations and peoples
    • creating the conditions for unlocking the creative, personal, intellectual capacity
    • financial support of workers of culture, arts, sports, education and science for implementation and realization by them the social-significant projects

    On October 19, 2021 the Director of the International Delphic Committee Vladimir Ponyavin and the Chairman of the Board of the International Delphic Committee Aurelian Danila met with the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Moldova Sergiu Prodan in Chisinau. During the meeting issues of international development of the Delphic Games for the next four years were discussed

    From 21 to 26 of May, 2021 the Twentieth Youth Delphic Games of Russia were held in the Perm region. The Games were held under the patronage of the International Delphic Committee and the aegis of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO.

    1947 people took part in the Games, formed in delegations from 65 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Competitions were held in 28 categories of classical, folk and modern art.

    In official team championship the first place took the delegation of the Perm region, the second  of the Novosibirsk region, the third  of the Moscow region, the fourth of the Samara region, the fifth of the Krasnoyarsk region, the sixth of the St. Petersburg. 77 sets of medals were drawn during the Games.

    Within the framework of the Twentieth Youth Delphic Games of Russia the Fifteenth International Conference was held.

    From 20 to 22 of May, 2021 within the framework of the Fifteenth International Conference of the Twentieth Youth Delphic Games of Russia the First Finno-Ugric Delphic Cup was held in Kudymkar (the Perm region). The team of the Republic of Karelia became the winner among 10 delegations participated in the event

    From 6 to 11 November 2020, the Nineteenth Youth Delphic Games of Russia are being held under the patronage of the International Delphic Committee, which became the first event in Delphic history to be held entirely in digital format.

    1706 people take part in the Games as part of delegations from 72 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. About 100 prominent figures of art became members of the jury. Competitions are held in 30 categories of classical, folk and modern art. Most nominations are divided into 2 or 3 age groups. A total of 76 sets of medals will be drawn.
