  • WHAT IS THE DELPHIC GAMES

    The Delphic Games are complex competitions in the disciplines of artistic, applied and research creativity. Currently, competitions are held in 54 categories: piano, violin, theater, academical singing, folk dance, circus, epidemiology and bioinformatics, art of upbringing, fashion design, popular science video blogging, etc. 
  • THE HISTORY OF THE DELPHIC GAMES

    The Games started officially in Greece in 582 B.C. Together with the Olympic the Delphic Games (called the Pythian before) were forbidden more than 1600 years ago and reappeared only at the beginning of the 20th century: the Delphic Festival was held in Greece in 1927 – 1930, it became the complete analog of the ancient Pythian Games. However, because of the Second World War the Higher Forum for Art was suspended.

    The meeting between the Co-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Delphic Council of Russia, the First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of Russia Committee for Science and Higher Education Vladimir Sipyagin, the Director of the Executive Committee of the National Delphic Council of Russia Artemy Ponyavin and the President of the African Delphic Council, the Chairman of the Select Committee on Public Enterprises and Communications of the Parliament of the Republic of South Africa Zolani Mkiva was held.

    During the discussions the results of work in 2023 were summed up, as well as ways to expand cooperation between Delphic organizations of Russia and Africa, develop artistic and scientific nominations of the Delphic Games and hold events in the BRICS Plus format were outlined

    The meeting between the delegation of the International Delphic Committee headed by the Director Vladimir Ponyavin and the Observer of the International Delphic Committee for the People's Republic of China Ge Jian took place.

    During the meeting the development of the Delphic Games, issues of bilateral cooperation were raised, as well as interaction within the BRICS and SCO frameworks were discussed

    The National Delphic Council of Russia took part in the Meeting of young delegates from the Russian Federation and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to comprehensively implement the agreements of the historic Russian-Korean summit.

    The Director of the Executive Committee of the National Delphic Council of Russia Artemy Ponyavin presented the experience of the Delphic Games, issues of support for creative youth and the development of scientific and cultural diplomacy were raised.

    Following the Meeting, all delegates were invited to attend the events of the Delphic Games

    On December 21, 2023 the First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Valery Gromada presented the Gratitude of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus to the laureates of the Seventeenth Youth Delphic Games of the CIS Member States at the official ceremony

    From 11 to 16 of December, 2023 The Second Open Bishkek Childrenʼs Delphic Games were held in the Kyrgyz Republic.  

    The organization and holding of the Games were carried out by the City Administration of Bishkek, the Bishkek City Kenesh, the Delphic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic. The event was held under the patronage of the International Delphic Committee. 

    More than 300 young talents aged 7 to 14 from the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation took part in the Second Open Bishkek Children's Delphic Games in 10 nominations.  

    The international jury included more than 30 prominent representatives of the teaching figures of higher and secondary educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, winners of the international Delphic Games. The laureates of the Games were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals in each category, as well as diplomas for professionalism. A total of 20 sets of medals were awarded.

    From 11 to 16 of December, 2023 The Second Open Bishkek Children's Delphic Games are being held in the Kyrgyz Republic. 

    The opening ceremony of the Games, which took place at the Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abdylas Maldybaev, was attended by the Director of the International Delphic Committee Vladimir Ponyavin, the Mayor of Bishkek Aibek Dzhunushaliev and the Chairman of the Delphic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic, People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Anarbek Ibraev

    From 6 to 10 of October, 2023 the Seventeenth Youth Delphic Games of the CIS Member States are being held in the Kyrgyz Republic (Bishkek).

    In order to successfully hold the Delphic Games, the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 453-r of August 4, 2023 was adopted.

    From 12 to 14 of December, 2022 the Director of the International Delphic Committee Vladimir Ponyavin took part in the XV Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the CIS Member States held in the Republic of Uzbekistan (Tashkent).

    Within the framework of the sections the 20-year experience of holding the Delphic Games in the Commonwealth area is presented. During the Forum the meeting between Vladimir Ponyavin and the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov took place. Prospects for cooperation within the framework of the Delphic Games and work with young talents were discussed

    From 24 to 28 of November, 2022 the First Youth Arctic Delphic Games were held in Syktyvkar, the Komi Republic.

    More than 600 people took part in the competitions and the jury consisted of about 40 prominent figures of culture and art. Young talents aged between 10 and 25 competed in 10 nominations.

    28 sets of medals were bestowed during the competition. The laureates who won the first, second and third places in the age groups of the nominations were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals; the holders of special diplomas were also determined
