The Eighth National Delphic Games of Kazakhstan took place in Kokshetau, the Republic of Kazakhstan on June 23 – 28, 2012. The organization and holding of the Games were carried out jointly by the National Delphic Committee of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the National Democratic Party "Nur Otan" and under the patronage of the International Delphic Committee.
More than 500 young artists from all regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan selected in screening rounds locally participated in the contest. The competition in 14 categories of classic, folk and modern art took place within the Games.
