The first International Delphic Festival took place in the capital of the Republic of Turkey on May 15-21, 2010. Over 1000 young people at the age of 16-25 years from 20 countries of Europe, Africa, Central and Southeastern Asia, and the Middle East participated in four nominations of the Festival (folk dance, folk instruments, photography and fine arts).
The organization of this large-scale event was carried out by the International Delphic Committee (IDC), the General Direction on Youth and Sport of the Republic of Turkey, the Joint Administration of Turkic Culture and Art (TURKSOY), and the Turkish Youth Club “FOMGED”.
