From April 26th till May 2nd, 2017 the delegation of the International Delphic Committee took part in the First Bishkek Forum of Cultures, which gathered representatives of 20 countries.

The Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr.S. Isakov, the Mayor of Bishkek Mr.A. Ibraimov, heads of state authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic participated and addressed speeches at the Opening Ceremony of the Forum, which was held on April 27, 2017 at the State Residence No.1 “Ala-Archa” of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. Within the framework of the Opening ceremony the presentation of the Delphic Games was carried out and the Director of the International Delphic Committee Mr.V.Ponyavin noted that more than 150 Delphic Games, competitions and events were already held in different countries of the world and their popularity increases year on year, he drew attention to the results of the 15 years long development of the Games in Kyrgyzstan and also to the successful holding of the Twelfth Youth Delphic Games of the CIS Member States dedicated to the 15th Anniversary of the CIS Games (April 18-23, 2017).    

The program of the Forum included a number of sections, one of which was dedicated to the Delphic Games. At the sessions of the section issues of the current stage of development of the Delphic Games were discussed, the historical retrospective and the nearest perspective were touched on. A steady increase of a quantity of the Delphic Games, competitions and events being held in different countries of the world as well as extension of a number of states representatives of which cooperate with the International Delphic Committee (the headquarters in Moscow) were noted in the speeches.  Special attention was paid to the experience of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation in holding the Paradelphic Games in 2016. Issues of the practical preparation of the Second Youth European Delphic Games which the Mayor Office of Ružomberok had proposed to host in the Slovak Republic in 2018 were discussed.
