• WHAT IS THE DELPHIC GAMES

    The Delphic Games are complex competitions in the disciplines of artistic, applied and research creativity. Currently, competitions are held in 54 categories: piano, violin, theater, academical singing, folk dance, circus, epidemiology and bioinformatics, art of upbringing, fashion design, popular science video blogging, etc. 
  • THE HISTORY OF THE DELPHIC GAMES

    The Games started officially in Greece in 582 B.C. Together with the Olympic the Delphic Games (called the Pythian before) were forbidden more than 1600 years ago and reappeared only at the beginning of the 20th century: the Delphic Festival was held in Greece in 1927 – 1930, it became the complete analog of the ancient Pythian Games. However, because of the Second World War the Higher Forum for Art was suspended.

    The National Delphic Council of Russia took part in the Meeting of young delegates from the Russian Federation and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to comprehensively implement the agreements of the historic Russian-Korean summit.

    The Director of the Executive Committee of the National Delphic Council of Russia Artemy Ponyavin presented the experience of the Delphic Games, issues of support for creative youth and the development of scientific and cultural diplomacy were raised.

    Following the Meeting, all delegates were invited to attend the events of the Delphic Games

    From 11 to 16 of December, 2023 The Second Open Bishkek Childrenʼs Delphic Games were held in the Kyrgyz Republic.  

    The organization and holding of the Games were carried out by the City Administration of Bishkek, the Bishkek City Kenesh, the Delphic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic. The event was held under the patronage of the International Delphic Committee. 

    More than 300 young talents aged 7 to 14 from the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation took part in the Second Open Bishkek Children's Delphic Games in 10 nominations.  

    The international jury included more than 30 prominent representatives of the teaching figures of higher and secondary educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, winners of the international Delphic Games. The laureates of the Games were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals in each category, as well as diplomas for professionalism. A total of 20 sets of medals were awarded.

    From 11 to 16 of December, 2023 The Second Open Bishkek Children's Delphic Games are being held in the Kyrgyz Republic. 

    The opening ceremony of the Games, which took place at the Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abdylas Maldybaev, was attended by the Director of the International Delphic Committee Vladimir Ponyavin, the Mayor of Bishkek Aibek Dzhunushaliev and the Chairman of the Delphic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic, People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Anarbek Ibraev
